Highlights From Easter Weekend

3 April 2024

We had an action packed Easter Weekend with multiple runners on both Sunday and Monday. Here were the highlights...

Market Rasen – 31st March - Pottersjetamay

Pottersjetamy finally got another run under his belt having missed out due to the soft ground recently. He was ridden by Jack Quinlan to finish 3rd in the maiden hurdle. There were lots of positives to take away from that run and great to see such improvement in this horse. We hope to run him again soon enough when it dries out a little more.

Plumpton – 31st March – Alien Storm

Alien Storm ran a great race to finish 3rd in the handicap hurdle under Paul O’Brien. He was much more settled this time out and showed us that he has what it takes to stay further. He is another we haven’t been able to run as planned due to the soft ground. Looking forward to getting this horse back in the winning enclosure very soon!

Fakenham – 1st April – Ikigai Star

Ikigai Star ran a brilliant race first time out on his debut over hurdles under Lilly Pinchin to finish 4th in much more experienced company. He jumped well and will come on a lot for the next time out. We still have a 50% share left in this smart juvenile hurdler who has a career high flat rating of 87!

Huntingdon – 1st April - No No Fizz

No No Fizz showed us that she has what it takes when finishing a brilliant 2nd in her handicap hurdle debut at Huntingdon under Kielan Woods. She jumped immaculately, and saw off all but he winner by only 4 lengths…hopefully there’s a win in her soon!

Well done to all the winning owners and connections. And thank you to the CLR team for all your hard work.
