We alway had the TBA & EBF Mares' Novices Handsicap Hurdle Finale Grade 2 as a target this season for Snow Leopardess and it was terrific for it all to come together. She is a mare I have always liked at home. It was brilliant for Mrs Fox-Pitt to have bred her as well and to have the whole familly there to celebrate made the day even more special.
The win makes her valuable breeding prospect having already also won a Listed bumper at Gowran Park, she is now qualified for the Catergory 1 TBA Elite Mares Scheme. She also boosted the prize money by winning a £10K bonus through the National Hunt Mare Owners' Prize Scheme.
She may well have another trip over the Irish sea to the Grade 1 Novice Race at Fairyhouse, She has plenty of scope to jump fences in time.
