As the autumn winds roll in, we've had a soggy start to the week here at the yard. Despite the dreary weather, the horses have been in excellent form. Yesterday Washpool ran a brilliant race for his second run over hurdles to finish 3rd in quite a competitive novice race at Market Rasen. We’ve got plenty of runners coming up over the weekend with entries at Stratford and Kempton. On Friday we are looking forward to seeing Jumper Madrik and Lebowski run.
It has been a social week here at the yard, we have had plenty of visitors and syndicates in the yard to see their horses. We love seeing everyone and the horses love the fuss too!
Today Lilly Pinchin was in to school some of the weekend runners however the thick fog didn’t allow us the best view. Lilly then headed off to Worcester where she rides Glimpse of Gala and Midnight Jewel for us, good luck to everyone involved!
Tomorrow we are heading to Carlisle with Western Zephyr, this is his first run back of the season, so we are excited to see him run.
