It’s an exciting day here as we have sent off Western Zephyr to run over the famous Grand National fences in Topham today! We are all very excited to see him run but more importantly hoping for a safe run, so he comes home safely. The atmosphere is electric, and it is a privilege to have a contender on such a big day.
After today we are set for a quiet weekend, giving the team and horses a chance to recharge. On Tuesday all eyes will be on Moon Over Mexico and Imperial Jade at Carlisle next week.
Yesterday Delpotro ran at Plumpton and finished 2nd, he is slowly getting there, and we are hopeful he will be in the winner’s enclosure soon.
Helen Hart has been in this morning giving plenty of physio treatment to the horses during our quiet week, the horses routine at the moment is something to be jealous of!
