What a great servant he has been over the years. He had a delayed start to his season after being struck down with the virus in the Autumn. After a very promising first run, I stupidly did not run him in the big Sandown race he won the previous season and went up to Musselburgh for their big chase instead. He did not stay the trip that day and that was most likely down to a developing wind issue. We have now rectified the issue and this season he will be aimed at more of the bigger Saturday handicaps.
