A game front running performance from Midnight Jewel at Fontwell on Sunday to get off the mark over fences. He led from start to finish under Lilly Pinchin, jumping superbly on the way round. That is a 5th career win for Midnight Jewel. It was great to watch, and we are delighted for owner Gillian Morgan.
It was a double on the day as Harry Longsdon wins his first pony race aboard Tiny Dancer at Wolverhampton. He then managed to ride out one lot before heading off to school this morning! This cannot go without mentioning the tragic event in Ireland this weekend. It is utterly devastating, and our thoughts all go out to the De Bromhead family.
Maninsane made his chasing debut at Stratford on Saturday under Lilly Pinchin. He travelled and jumped nicely to finish 3rd and will come on for the run. Castle Robin returned to Hull Farm last week, it is great to have him back in the yard ready for the season ahead. Present Storm has been declared at Uttoxeter on Wednesday, Brian Hughes takes the ride. There are no other entries for the rest of the week.
Lilly and Paul were both in this morning, therefore it was another schooling morning with Cian and Brad also riding. Rare Edition, Stroll On By, Somekindofstar, Soldat Forte, Gaelic Park, Glimpse Of Gala, No Word, Zestful Hope, Well Dick, Peter’s Portrait, Western Zephyr, Guetapan Collonges, Byzantium Lad, Calidad, The Mighty Arc and Parramount all jumped on the ring. Again, it was a pleasing session! Ardbraccan, Miss Applejack, Imperial Jade, Caesar’s Palace, No No Espresso and No No Tango popped around the school. Again, it was nice to watch.
