There’s a noticeable excitement in the air as we gear up for the National Hunt season. However, despite the buzz, one thing on everyone’s mind is the weather — or more specifically, the dry spell that’s impacting ground conditions on the racecourses.

As many of you know, National Hunt racing thrives on softer ground, especially for those winter warriors who are built to thrive in muddy, testing conditions. Unfortunately, this dry weather has left the courses firmer than we’d like, and we're still waiting for the rain to turn the ground around.

Earlier this week we had a new arrival from the sales, ‘Graecia’ has been spending the last few days settling in, she seems like an enthuastic type, and we look forward to beginning teaching her how to jump.

Today we had the lovely Hot to Trot Syndicate in to see their mare Molto Bene, they had a great morning watching her on the gallops followed by home baked cake and coffee. We are now looking forward to two runners at Warwick today with Red Panda running at 1.15 and Maninsane running at 3pm. Finger’s crossed they both run well and come home safely.

We hope you have a had a good start to the week!
