Winter has well and truly made its presence known, recently we have had several meetings abandoned. Snow, relentless rain, frozen grounds and waterlogged tracks, it has been frustrating, of course, but it is the reality we face in this sport.
Despite these setbacks, the spirit of the team here at the yard remains unshakeable! They are brilliant, they manage to keep smiling in minus temperatures and ensure the horses are exercised, fed and cared for to the best standard.
We had 2 entries at Hereford tomorrow but with this already being called off we are looking at another quiet day. Later on in the week we have entries for Newbury, Doncaster, Huntingdon, Kempton and Warwick. We will keep our fingers crossed for some better weather and hope we can get some racing on!
