It’s been a quieter week than usual at the yard, we’ve had no runners over the past few days however the work has not stopped behind the scenes as we are preparing for a busy week next week!
Next Monday we are heading to Hereford with If I Say in a Handicap Chase and Miss Applejack in a Handicap Hurdle race, Tuesday we have entries for Market Rasen including Washpool and Ideal De Romay. Wednesday looks to be a busy day with entries both at Wetherby and Worcester. All of the horses are fresh and well which leaves us excited to see the horses run next week!
Thankfully, we have had a couple of days of no rain which means the fields have dried up, yesterday we turned some horses out and they were delighted to be back out! However, the sudden drop in temperature means they are all wearing extra rugs at the moment, winter is most certainty on the way!
While we haven't been too busy recently, the yard has been far from quiet. Every horse still needs daily care, exercise, and attention.
