Racing did go ahead on Tuesday at Lingfield, and despite horses and jockeys coming in caked in mud, Sean Bowen did report that the ground was raceable. Although, it has now been abandoned for racing on Monday due to a waterlogged course. We know Illegal Model likes the extreme soft, so all was in our favour. He jumped nicely but never looked engrossed in the race, travelling slightly behind the bridle at times. Therefore, despite the third place, we were slightly disappointed, and it may be a possibility to try cheek pieces next times. He is certainly a horse we have always thought a lot of at home, a big strong galloper. We were pleased with Glebe Roads efforts at Wetherby yesterday to finish a creditable 5th. He looked to be outpaced on the home turn but stayed on nicely under Paul O’Brien in the Novice Hurdle.

The Mighty Arc has set off on his journey up to Kelso this morning, hopefully avoiding Storm Eunice on the way. Storm Dudley, last night, did not seem to cause too much havoc, however it looks as though Storm Eunice could cause some disruption tomorrow morning. We have had to cancel one of our syndicate mornings just to air on the side of caution. It would not be very nice trying to watch the horses on the gallops while being blown away!

Old Gold Racing were in this morning with Francesca Cumani to do some filming of both Train Hill and Stroll On By. Stroll On By has come out of his race really well and we are eagerly anticipating the return of Train Hill to the track soon. They seemed to have picked the perfect day as it was beautiful sunshine and blue sky, yesterday was horrific downpours and tomorrow is gale force winds.

Parramount, half-brother to Snow Leopardess, returned to Hull Farm yesterday, he looks fantastic after being at Mrs Fox-Pitts for a couple of months. We are excited to get going with him again. Snow Leopardess got an exciting weight of 10st3lb for the National and should get in off that mark. A real buzz in the yard is building around this mare and the story that could be!

Glencassley has been declared for Ascot on Saturday with Paul O’Brien taking the ride. Castle Robin is entered at Newbury on Sunday and Carlisle on Monday, as well as Doncaster on Wednesday. Largy Nights is in at Market Rasen on Tuesday, while Tea For Free and Glencassley hold entries at Ludlow on Wednesday.

Make sure you do not get blown away by Eunice and stay safe!
