This weekend we had several runners at Newcastle and Chepstow, all the horses brilliantly which was great to see. It’s always a boost to have the horses in good form, and when they are running well it always lifts the spirits of everyone in the yard.
We have taken Do Your Job up to Wetherby today and he will run at 2.30pm this afternoon, we also have Miss Applejack running on the flat today on her handicap debut at 8.30pm. Fingers crossed for a successful day at the races!
Meanwhile, back at the yard the sun has finally decided to make a reappearance, and it is beginning to feel like spring. This morning the lads have been out on the lawn mower and there’s a real freshness in the air. The horses are certainly enjoying the better weather, they are all out in the field with the sun out on their backs too.
