It’s been a whirlwind start to the week here at Hull Farm, with plenty of exciting moments keeping us all on our toes!
First off, we’re thrilled to announce a fantastic win for one of our horses, Alien Storm. He was given a brilliant and patient ride by David Bass to win at Plumpton for the third time in his career, we are beginning to think he likes it there!
Yesterday Zestful Hope ran at Ludlow, and he put in a great performance to finish 3rd under Jack Tudor. ‘Zesters’ jumping has improved so much this season, and we look forward to seeing him progress in the future.
But it’s not all business! We also had a bit of fun this week with our annual Christmas Jumper Day. The yard was filled with festive cheer as everyone, from trainers to stable staff, they all brought out their best (and sometimes most ridiculous!) Christmas jumpers. It was a great way to spread some holiday joy and show off our team spirit, all while making sure the horses stayed in top form for the races ahead.
As we look forward into the weekend, tomorrow we are heading to 3 different race meetings. We begin the day with Western Zephyr and Rare Edition running at Ascot, we are very excited to see both of these horses run. Gaelic Park is heading over to Uttoxeter to run in the 2.40 Handicap Hurdle. To finish the day off Parramount heads off to Wolverhampton to hopefully follow up his previous winning from at 7.00pm under Jack Doughty.
