It’s been a fantastic week here at the yard as we celebrated a victory from our 11-year-old star Do Your Job. He is such an enthusiastic character who jumps for fun and proves age is just a number! It was amazing to see him back in the winner’s enclosure and brilliant for his very patient owners The Harlequins who have waited for a win!
On top of this Miss Applejack ran a blinder to finish a strong 3rd, she has been so consistent since running on the flat and it will not be long before she is in the winner’s enclosure too.
As spring is now upon us the team have been busy tidying up around the yard preparing for the warmer days ahead. The horses are all out in the field today without rugs on and it’s great to see so many happy horses.
Tomorrow Glimpse of Gala is running at Newbury under Elizabeth Gale, we would love to see her run well. As the weekend is slowly on its way, we are facing a couple of challenges with the ground being on the good side which left us not declaring on Saturday.
