It’s always bittersweet when one of our beloved horses retires from racing, we have made the decision to retire Glimpse of Gala. After giving us so many fabulous days at the races she is heading off for a well-earned retirement and will go to stud to have a foal! She has been a pleasure to train, we will all miss her around the yard, but we look forward to her next chapter.
Not only have we made the decision to retired Glimpse of Gala, but Harjo has also retired this weekend. He is looking for a point-to-point home, he is a fantastic jumper who deserves his time to shine! If you are interested, please get in touch via info@charlielongsdonracing.com.
On the racing front, we have got one runner at Taunton on Tuesday with Graecia and Lilly Pinchin. Following on from that we have a busy Thursday and Friday with entries at Southwell, Warwick, Fontwell and Wetherby. We have made some entries for several bumper horses such as Romany King, Hay Max and Not At That Price which we are all excited and keen to see on the racecourse.
Retirement, new opportunities, and the ongoing excitement of the racing season – there’s never a dull moment in this game!
