Beginning the blog with our fabulous winner The Dark Edge, we were thrilled to celebrate a winner at Warwick for The Dark Edge Partnership. He thrives off the spring ground and we are very excited to see how this horse will progress in the future.
However, the quick ground has made things tricky for some limiting options to run the softer-ground horses.
In the meantime, this morning we took two exciting young horses away for a gallop, Hay Max and The Mullet. We often do this before a bumper run to build up their experience and confidence. They will both be aimed at running in a bumper this month and hopefully this has shaped them up nicely for that.
The sun is shining here, and it looks like it is going to be a fantastic week of weather, all of the horses are out in the field enjoying a belly full of grass and the sun beating down on their backs. A few of our horses are beginning to prepare for their summer holidays whilst some are preparing for their summer season.
